This was an idea that I had thought about, and even made sketches for, many years before I painted it. Whilst we were in lockdown, my idea felt more relevant than ever. The photoshoots with the model were carried out remotely, discussing poses and creating and chatting by phone. I really enjoyed this one and my favourite part is the flow running through her ribs and body.
