Beginning Again!

I had already started the third painting for ‘The Gentle Thread’ but despite spending time with it, I couldn’t escape the feeling that it belonged to a different conversation. I had sat with it, slept on it, and it simply didn’t feel part of the collection that is gradually revealing itself.

So I began again, The new painting is already flowing fast from me with a natural energy. This one is quieter, more contemplative and much closer to the direction this collection is asking me to explore.

This months Observation:
I’ve realised that knowing when to begin again is just as important as knowing when to continue.
