So this painting covers two elements for me. One Kate Bush was a huge influence to me growing up as there weren’t many women for girls to follow in the music industry in the 70’s. Plus the music was soooo different soooo out there and to write songs about literature unheard of. She was also an amazing dancer, and played the piano, all things which I did so I felt such a connection. Secondly, Wuthering Heights, one of my favourite books, I’m a fan of the Brontes, the fact that these two are connected is a double whammy for me, and the part where the hand comes through the window…….. gripping stuff.
